​Bachelor's Degree in Law (2006 Hons.) and Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (2008 Summa Cum Laude) both of the University of San Andrés (La Paz – Bolivia). Masters Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations (2009 Summa Cum Laude) at the Diplomatic Academy of Bolivia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Masters Degree in International Law (2022 Distinguished) at the University of Nottingham (Chevening Award).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

As a career diplomat, legal advisor of the Bolivian State and postgraduate lecturer in International Law, he posses extensive experience in international litigation in various cases before the following international courts:

• Permanent Court of Arbitration.

• International Chamber of Commerce.

• International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes of the World Bank.

• Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

As well as, practical experience in various subjects of Private International Law such as:

• International Contracts (UNIDROIT, INCOTERMS, UNCITRAL Principles, etc.).

• International Family Law (Adoption, Restitution, Alimony Duties, Enforcement of Foreign Judgments and Awards, etc.).

• Transnational Litigation (Civil and Criminal Law).

• International Legal Cooperation and Criminal Law.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

 

Currently he is lecturer in law at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, Plurinational Diplomatic Academy of Bolivia and Andean University "Simón Bolivar" (Andean Community).
